How will I know if I won? What do I do if I'm a winner?
Once the designated game is officially final, an email will be sent to everyone with winning squares. The Squarz game board(s) will also switch to the “Post Game” state of the Squarz experience, announcing the winner(s). From each of these boards, winners can claim prizes, fellow Squarzmates can see who won and anyone who was a participant can download their savings voucher as well as share the moment with friends and family.
If you're a winner, in your email you’ll see a special link to click on to claim your prize. Once you claim your prize, that information is sent to the merchant to process and ship you your prize. Alternatively, you can login to and go to the “My Account” page on the Squarz site, and click the “My Dealz” tab on the left. This will take you to your list of purchased vouchers. Then, just click “Claim Your Prize,” next to the winning deal voucher.
What happens if a Squarz board doesn’t fill up? Do I get the deal anyway?
Yep! Once enough users buy the deal (we decide on this number ahead of time) the deal is on! It doesn’t matter if the board is completely full, or half empty – or, as we say at Squarz, half full.
When are vouchers available to download/use?
Vouchers are available to download and use as soon as you finish your purchase. Or, if the offer is free, your voucher will be available as soon as you finish choosing your square on the game board, and proceed with all of the on-screen instructions of course.
How do I purchase a deal?
Choose your square(s) on the deal’s game board, and then just click “Buy Deal.” You’ll know a square is up for grabs if no one else’s game face is on it.

I can’t login, what do I do if I forgot my password or username?
When you’re at our “Sign In” Page, there are two links right below the fields to enter your Username and password. All you have to do is click on the respective link regarding either your forgotten username or forgotten password. You will be taken to another page that asks for your email address. Just fill this out, and you’re done! We’ll take care of the rest and shoot you an email as soon as we can with your lost information.
I’m told that a player can advertise on Squarz. How do I go about doing that?
You can absolutely advertise on Squarz, and the best part about this is all you have to do is get a square! Once you purchase a deal or get a free deal, your square is yours to do as you please. So go ahead, advertise! Make your game face whatever you want that best depicts your company, and then once you’ve gotten the deal, just click on your new square to add whatever information you'd like.
Can I play Squarz without having to make a purchase? (AMOE)
Yup! If you see a prize that you’re dying to try to win, but the deal isn’t that appealing to you, don’t worry – we got your back. We call this our Alternate Method of Entry. Pretty much, it just means that you enter yourselves into a tiny sweepstakes to win the prize, but your chances are the same whether or not you buy the deal. There’s a link above every game board that will take you through this process.
What are the odds of winning a prize? What are the odds if there are multiple boards?
Every square ALWAYS has a 1 in a 100 chance of winning! But, for some deals, you can purchase more than 1 square, which increases your chances of winning by 1% every time!
I bought a deal, how do I get the voucher?
Your voucher is availabe immediately! All you have to do is go to the “My Account” page on the Squarz site, and click the “My Dealz” tab on the left. This will take you to your list of purchased vouchers ready to be used.
What’s a game face? How do I “create” my own?
Game faces are those super cool images that you see inside of all the occupied squares on the game board. They identify you to your competition. To create your own game face, first you have to purchase a deal. After you’ve filled out all of your personal and payment information, you will be taken to the game face page. On the left hand side of this page, just click the “Choose File” button under the heading “Upload a New Image.” From here, you will be taken to all of your computer files and the rest is up to you! You can choose any picture on your computer to be your game face – just please keep it clean, Squarzheads!
Is my information safe on Squarz?
Of course! We guard your information with our lives.
Why does a Squarz deal show "deal closed"?
Every Squarz deal is linked to a sports game that decides the winner of each deal’s game board. So the deal closes as soon as the game to which it’s linked begins. All it really means is that the deal you’re looking at isn’t available to buy anymore, but if you’ve already bought a square for that deal – the real fun starts. After the deal closes, you can watch the board update live to reflect the game’s changes and see how close you are to becoming the winner!!
What if I want to return the item I won?
Squarz does not handle or process any returns. You can always contact the supplier of the item to see if you can work something out. But no returns can be made through squarz.com.
If a board fills up, can I still pick a square?
It depends. We decide on the maximum number of deals to be sold before the deal runs, and once that number is reached, you will not be able to buy a square on that game board. But it’s most likely that there will be more than enough squares for everyone who wants one! And in that case, as soon as one board fills up, another empty one will automatically begin.
Of course it's legal! We work extremely hard with a brilliant legal team to make sure that everything that goes on at Squarz is completely by the books. We would never do anything to put your reputation or ethics in jeopardy. But we understand your concern. Something this good always feels too good to be true. But don't you worry. This time it is true!
Why do you limit the number of squares we can play/purchase?
Sometimes we limit the number of squares you can purchase because of a merchant’s request. But usually, we limit the number of squares each person can purchase so that everyone can get an equal shot at winning the bigger prize! (Especially when it's free...we're not that easy). It’s more fun that way anyway.
What happens if my voucher expires?
Unfortunately, if your voucher expires, it’s no longer valid for use.
What happens if the business that provided the voucher shuts down or does not honor my voucher?
If either of those two things happen, just give us a shout out at help@squarz.com or fill out our contact form, found when you click “Contact Us” at the top of the Squarz website. We’ll take care of it.
For an online deal, your downloaded voucher will have a code on it. And, when you visit the merchant’s website, all you have to do is enter that code during your checkout process. For a regular deal, just bring a hard copy of the voucher with you to the merchant and show it to them. Cell phone apps coming soon!
What recourse do I have if I win a Squarz board and the item arrives damaged or never arrives at all?
We sure hope this never happens. But if the package arrives damaged, be sure to note the damage with the delivery service or refuse the shipment. Also, you can contact the merchant that was offering the prize. If all else fails, give us a shout at contactus@squarz.com
You have to be at least 18 years old and you have to live within the "contiguous" United States. That means that Hawaii and Alaska don't count. Sorry!
How do I sign up to play?
You have to register first. But it's really easy. Just click in the upper-right hand corner of your screen where you see "Sign In or Register," and then follow the on screen instructions to creating a username and password and all that fun stuff. Then you're in!
What if the username I want is already chosen?
If the username you want is already chosen, there's not much we can do about it. You just have to think of a new one!
All you have to do is pick the deal you in which you want to participate on our home page, and then go to that deal, scroll down to the game board, and pick a square on the game board! Then, follow the on screen instructions from there.
What's the difference between a paid deal and a free deal?
Right now, almost all of our deals are FREE - cool, right? The difference between a paid deal and a free deal is whether or not you have to pay anything up-front. We still offer great discounts and offers when the deal is free, but you don't need to pay anything to get a square on the board or a chance to win! We know you like that better, so we do as many of those as we can.
Do I have to pay anything at all to pick a square if the deal is free?
Nope! Some free deals are just discounts from merchants, so you might have to pay something eventually when you redeem the voucher, but it's never required on our end! FREE means FREE.
How does the scoring work on a Squarz game board? What do my numbers mean?
Let's say a board's winner is determined by the final score of the Chicago vs. Green Bay football game. This just means that the winner is chosen by whoever owns the square that is selected by the last digit of the Chicago score and the last digit of the Green Bay score. So if the score was 42 to 14 (favoring Chicago of course), then the square that lined up with the "2" from the Chicago side of the board and the "4" from the Green Bay side of the board is the winner!
And this works the same with any type of game stat: shots on goal in hockey, hits in baseball, saves in soccer...you get the picture.
Soooo, your square's two numbers represent the last digit of each team's possible final score. If your square was assigned numbers, "1" and "3", this means that you want one team's final score to end in a "1" and the other team's final score end in a "3."
Easy as pie.
What are shots on goal in hockey? Where do I find this stat?
Shots on goal are the number of times someone on each team shoots the puck at their offending team's goal. We'll keep track of this stat for you, so you don't need to worry about that. Or you can keep track online at espn.com in your games "Box score." Or you could count...but that seems like way too much work.
How do you decide the winner?

What happens if the winning square is blank and no one picked it?
If the winning square is blank, then nobody wins! We HATE when this happens though, so tell all your friends and make them play so we always have a winner!
Where can I find scores after a game is over?
We like espn.com - great place to find all your favorite sports game stats. Or google? The internet will pretty much answer any question you have. If you don't have internet...then how are you playing Squarz anyway?
Can I change my mind after I make a purchase?
There are 3 points in the purchase process once you’ve selected your square where you can opt out of the process for purchasing your deal(s). Your purchase is not complete until you’ve hit “Checkout” during Step 3 of the Checkout Process. At that point, the purchase is final. However, until the board goes live, your purchase is not complete. See “What Happens if my Squarz Board doesn’t sell out?” below for more details.
A Squarz voucher is what you download from your “My Dealz” page and print out to bring into the merchant. It’s the proof that you already paid for the deal and what allows you to redeem its value.
This Squarz offer would make an awesome gift for someone I know...Can I give it to them?
Of course! Once you've picked your square, you can spread the Squarz love to whomever you choose. But, if the offer is free (and so many are) it would be SO much more fun for everyone if you just directed them to our site instead, so they could play for themselves! And then you both get the chance to win!
What do I do if I see something offensive on Squarz?
If you see anything at all that offends you or you think might offend someone else (and we hope you never do), just shoot us a quick message from our "Contact Us" page, and we'll take care of it. Thanks for always being on the look out!
What happens if a game is cancelled or rained out?
If anything happens to a game linked to a Squarz game board, we'll just pick a new one! Easy as that. Just make sure you keep an eye out for whatever game we pick to replace it so you don't miss any of the action!
I know an e-commerce website or business that would be perfect for Squarz. What do I do?

How can I get my business on Squarz?
